  • New client paperwork must be completed before enrolling in a membership plan, participating in the Green Deal or being accepted as a Medicaid or Ambetter insured patient. This is done to ensure that we do not waste your time or money! We want to make sure that our practice is the right fit for your needs. See the Contact and Resources tab to complete the new client paperwork!

  • The client must be physically located in the state of Georgia at the time of the appointment, and camera must be on during the session. Please test your camera on your phone or computer prior to appointment time to ensure there are no issues with your connection. Also, if you are completing your session from the comfort of your car, please ensure that the vehicle is parked.

  • If a client is under age 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to be present to discuss / approve / deny medication changes at the end of every appointment. Also, the parent or guardian cannot complete the session without the client being present. Client must be present during the visit to give their own input on their progress.

  • A same-day cancellation is any appointment cancellation / rescheduling that occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

For Membership Plan Members: There is no fee to be paid if the appointment is cancelled and/or rescheduled. However, 2 same-day cancellations is equivalent to 1 used secondary session.

For Ambetter and Medicaid Members: You have up to 3 same-day cancellations allowed every 12 months. If you accrue more than 3 same day cancellations, you will be at risk for being dismissed from the practice.

  • If you run out of sessions on the Red or Yellow Plans AND this was the plan your provider recommended, you have two options:

    1. Upgrade your plan to the next tier (e.g. from Red Plan to Yellow Plan, or Yellow Plan to Blue Plan). Note: Upgrading your plan does not restart your membership for another 12 months, you simply have access to the additional sessions included in the higher tier for the remainder of your current membership term.

    2. Wait until your 12 months is over and resume sessions on membership renewal. During this time you will still have access to requesting refills for your medications, however you will not be able to book a session for medication adjustments.

If you run out of sessions: (1) on the Blue Plan OR (2) on the Red or Yellow Plan that you signed up for instead of the plan your provider recommended, you have two options:

    1. Purchase additional secondary sessions for $60/session in the Members Area

    2. Wait until your 12 months is over and resume sessions on membership renewal. During this time you will still have access to requesting refills for your medications, however you will not be able to book a session for medication adjustments.

  • We do not prescribe Schedule 2 stimulants for ADHD (including but not limited to: Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta, and other products in this class)

  • Note: COVID telehealth exemptions have been extended until next year!

Tentatively, prescriptions for controlled substances schedules 3-5 (e.g. Ketamine, Xanax, Ambien, Modafinil, etc.) will not require in person assessment for prescription until December 31, 2024 per federal regulations

  • Prescriptions for controlled substances schedules 3-5 are issued at the discretion of the provider based on assessment and severity. Chronic daily use of controlled substances is generally not recommended by the FDA, thus we do not prescribe controlled substances for chronic daily use unless there is evidence to support the practice and the drug is indicated for this use by the FDA.

*Note: Due to extension of COVID telehealth exemptions controlled substances can continue to be prescribed via telehealth until December 31, 2024. At this point, new clients requiring controlled substances will require a physical visit before control substances can be prescribed to them

  • We do not complete FMLA paperwork. If your mental health is in such a severe state that you cannot go to work for an extended period of time, you may need a higher level of care than the outpatient services we offer. Examples of higher level care include inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs.

Your provider can complete accommodations paperwork for school or work if appropriate. They can also complete Short Term Disability paperwork if appropriate. The fee for these services is $35 and the service can be purchased via the Members Area once you have enrolled in a subscription plan.

  • We can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance to see if this is an option for you.

If you do have out of network benefits with your insurance, you can request a superbill from your provider on the following schedule:

    • Red Plan - Every 4 months from initiation of membership

      • Requirements: Must attend at least 2 visits every 4 months after evaluation

    • Yellow Plan - Every 3 months from initiation of membership

      • Requirements: Must attend at least 2 visits every 3 months after evaluation

    • Blue Plan - Every 2 months from initiation of membership

      • Requirements: Must attend at least 2 visits every 2 months after evaluation

    • Skills+ Plan - Every month from initiation of membership

      • Requirements: Must attend at least 1 visit every month after evaluation

    • Ketamine Initiation - After Pre/Post Induction appointment

    • Ketamine Membership - Every month from initiation of membership

      • Requirements: Must attend at least 1 visit every month after evaluation

Note: Visit requirements are for proper reimbursement purposes. Insurance can only reimburse you on a per visit basis, thus for billing purposes you must attend the required number of visits to be eligible for a superbill.

  • If your card payment is declined, existing and upcoming appointments will be at risk for cancellation until payment is able to be processed. You will receive email notification letting you know how soon the payment method will need to be updated to avoid cancellation of appointments. If your card payment is declined and you do not update the payment method within the time period specified, you will be at risk of being dismissed from the practice.

  • At this time, refunds are only available for Ketamine Initiation if you have not completed your Ketamine Evaluation Appointment. If you have already met with your provider for your hour long evaluation, you are not eligible to receive a refund.

Monthly membership/subscription fees are not eligible for refund as In-Sight Psych clients pay for regular access to their provider, prompt appointments, flexible scheduling without no show fees, etc. Refunds are not available if you do not use the services included in your membership, but you are free to request cancellation of your membership at any time at no cost.
