FAQ

  • A primary session is the first session between the client and the provider. During this hour-long session, history and current complaints are reviewed. At the end of the session, the provider will discuss diagnosis and treatment options with the client.

A secondary session is a 30 minute follow-up session. Each plan has a number of secondary sessions included in the monthly subscription.

An urgent session is a 20 minute session that can be requested by the patient. This session will take place within 72 hours of request if it is appropriate. However, urgent session requests are reviewed to ensure that they are necessary and do not involve issues that can be easily addressed over e-mail / voice call correspondence without using an appointment. We want you to get the most out of your subscription!

  • In order to provide quality care in line with the vision of the company, we will be accepting Ambetter, Peach State Health Plan Medicaid, and Amerigroup Medicaid.

We do not plan on contracting with other commercial insurance companies or Medicare insurance at this time; however, our subscription based services allows us to charge reasonable prices and provide quality care to all clients regardless of insurance type or status!

  • We treat a range of mental health disorders including but not limited to depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, bipolar spectrum disorders, schizophrenia etc. The best way to know if we can provide you the help you are looking for is to fill out and submit the new patient paperwork! • For Membership Plan Members: No, there is no same-day cancellation fee if you need to cancel/ reschedule your appointment last minute. However, 2 same day cancellations will count as 1 used secondary session on your subscription plan. Thus, we recommend that if you need to reschedule your scheduled appointment, do so before you are within the 24 hour window of your appointment time!

For Medicaid and Ambetter Members not subscribed to a membership plan: You also do not have a same-day cancellation fee. However, you do have up to 3 same-day cancellations allowed every 12 months. If you accrue more than 3 same day cancellations, you will be at risk for being dismissed from the practice.
